aim
The aim of the Hub, Hazelwell is to enable local people to meet, learn and explore ways of unlocking their potential.

We will do this in three ways:

  • by providing leisure activities and vocational courses aimed at boosting confidence and employment prospects

  • by providing quality, affordable space for groups to meet

  • by providing practical developmental support to small local businesses and community groups


who we are
The Hub, Hazelwell is a company limited by guarantee, with charitable status. We currently have three members of staff, based at the Hub's premises in Kings Heath, Birmingham:

The staff are accountable to the Hub's trustees - twelve individuals who have been involved over many years working with local people to find ways to alleviate poverty and its affect in the neighbourhood. They bring considerable relevant experience and expertise.

The Hub is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Community Fund, in addition to smaller grants and individual donations, for which we are very grateful.
